A Record of Action: Lib Dems have chosen Dave Radcliffe as their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the new Birmingham Selly Oak constituency.

Selly Oak Lib Dems have chosen local councillor Dave Radcliffe as their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate.

Dave Radcliffe takes over from Dr Richard Brighton who fought at the last General Election.

Dave Radcliffe lives locally in Stirchley and works for a Birmingham university. He was elected to Birmingham City Council in June 2004 and is one of the 3 Lib Dem councillors for the Selly Oak Ward. He currently chairs the city's "Cycling Advisory Group" - which provides a link between Councillors, local cycling groups and council officers.

Commenting on his selection, Dave Radcliffe said:

"I will campaign for quality public services for everyone in Selly Oak, whether they live, work or study here.

"I have a record of action in the Selly Oak Ward, and will carry on working hard across the Selly Oak constituency."
